Fashion Makes Change (FMC), is an industry-wide initiative spanning companies and consumers around the globe. Both an action-oriented research center for business, convening 50+ CEOs and 275 brands since 2014 – and a bridge to consumer engagement, FMC three pillars of Convening, Research, and, Engagement enable the full continuum of fashion’s stakeholders to work together, driving shifts in organizational procedure, industry process, and consumer behavior.

With support across the most influential brands and retailers in fashion, and deep engagement from customers at the point of sale, FMC has created a multi-pronged platform centered on the intersection of sustainability and regenerative practices through the lens of profitable business, data, and technology.

The network of CEOs and leadership allow our research and solutions to stay at the center of forces impacting our industry, including regulatory pressure, AI integration, on-product labeling frameworks, customer-facing campaigns that fund women’s empowerment and education, and new primary research connecting women and decarbonization. FMC has formed an ecosystem between brands, consumers, and stakeholders in the industry, supporting a mission to responsibly drive action on key social and environmental issues throughout fashion’s value chain.

Over the last 10 years, Fashion Makes Change has become the power center of systemic change. Coordinating and accelerating the industry’s sustainable, responsible transformation at scale, we operate at a B2B and B2C level.

FMC identifies the issues, forges the necessary trust and partnerships, and presents actionable, scalable solutions across the key issue areas for easy business and consumer adoption.
